Summer Cruising Returns to The Marina for One Dollar

On June 22, 2017, one of Marina del Rey’s most popular summer attractions returns. Hornblower Cruises & Events will resume operation of the Marina del Rey Water Bus service. For $1 per ticket, members of the public can travel between eight boarding stops throughout The Marina including the popular Fisherman’s Village, Burton Chace Park and Mother’s Beach. It allows locals and tourists alike to leave their cars behind and take easy access to shops and fine dining. You can even take your bike or stroller on board. And for those who like to use the service regularly, season passes are available for $30.

Hornblower Cruises & Events runs the service throughout the summer on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11 am until midnight, and on Sundays and Labor Day from 11 am until 9 pm. The service runs until September 4th, 2017.

Tickets are available at each dock stop where an attendant will be on hand to help and advise on the Water Bus schedule with maps of the various dock locations.

To accommodate our disabled community, ADA accessible ramps are located at Burton Chace Park, Del Ray Landing, Waterfront Walk, Marina “Mother’s” Beach, Dolphin Marina, Fisherman’s Village and Marina Harbor. Water Bus attendants will arrange for land taxi service for passengers needing special assistance to any Water Bus boarding stop for the $1.00 fare.

Not only is it the most scenic way to experience all that The Marina offers, it’s also the quickest, most pleasurable and by far the most affordable means of transport.
