Everyone at Hornblower San Diego is looking forward to this weekend's 5th Annual Bow Wow Brunch. A popular fundraiser benefiting the Helen Woodward Animal Center, our Bow Wow brunch is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy San Diego Bay in the company of your furry friends.
This year's Bow Wow Brunch features a number of special guests, inlcuding Darris Cooper, Petco's head dog trainer, and Chopper the Biker Dog. It kicks off with an onboard buffet featuring free-flowing sparkling wine, mimosas and desserts. Your dogs will also enjoy pampering at the dog relief walk on the sun deck and refreshing water stations throughout the yacht. The dogs will even get to go home with their own doggie buffet bag packed with treats from our sponsor Petco.
The brunch also features a canine costume and photo contest, complete with prizes! To enter, visit our Facebook page and post a picture of your dressed up pooch. Your friends and family will have the opportunity to vote - and the owner of the dog with the most votes wins a pair of Hornblower dining cruise tickets!
A portion of the proceeds benefits the Helen Woodward Animal Center. For more than 30 years, the private, non-profit organization has been saving the lives of animals and enriching the lives of people.
The cruise is limited to one dog per adult, and the dogs must be manageable and leashed the entire time. For more information on the Brunch and how to book, please visit our website.
Here at Hornblower we always like to do things, well, BIG. Fun and memorable wedding cruises, epic private events, corporate events that change employees’ ideas about them. As such, we’re really happy and excited to introduce something really new and exciting: flyboarding (how awesome does that look?).
Hornblower San Diego recently began offering flyboarding shows to groups and private charter groups looking for an extra dose of excitement while on our party boats. Guests watch with rapt attention as a couple of ‘flyboys’ ride on flyboards around the cruise ship. Shooting into the air, performing flips, diving under water: these guys really know what they are doing. They can even interact with the guests with high fives and more. We bet that you thought that you had seen it all.
Flyboarding is a unique way of adding to your next outing on one of our party boats in San Diego. What do you think? And, if you’re still not convinced/want to see some flyboarding in action, watch this video. Would you want to have the ‘flyboys’ out at your next event?
We need to come clean: we have more than one hopeless romantic on staff with us here (if it isn’t already obvious with the quote we picked). So, with gay marriage now legally allowed in California again, Hornblower is proud to offer gay & lesbian wedding cruises. To us, love is full of beauty and gives greater meaning to this thing called life. Start sharing in the beauty of life as well as the certain trials and low spots ahead with your significant other.
As mentioned before, there are definitely a couple of us (many of us) who have always dreamed of the special day with that special someone. As a result we always love seeing couples come in looking to plan their dream wedding cruise, all the while seeing how each cannot but help smile when looking at their partner. It makes our hearts soar and our minds race (we also drink a lot of coffee so that might be one factor...) when we see such a pairing.
That big day doesn’t just happen on its own without putting in some work. Wedding planning is hardly ever accompanied by the words ‘fun’ or ‘enjoyable’ in our experience but that doesn’t have to be true for you and your partner. Let us help make your wedding planning more fun and less not-fun with the gorgeous gay & lesbian wedding cruises we offer in Berkeley, San Francisco, Marina del Rey, Newport Beach, Long Beach, San Diego and New York . You take care of the ‘forever after’ part and we’ll help with tying the knot in style.
With Joy & Love,
The Team at Hornblower
This summer, we had the opportunity to host Nyssa, editor of luxury travel and culture blog The Cultureur, for an elegant Champagne Brunch Cruise aboard our renowned Endless Dreams yacht in Newport Beach. As the sun reflected off the glimmering Pacific coastline, our two-hour cruise entertained Nyssa and our guests with lavish foods, drink, and rich history. We hoped to impress such world-travelers with a taste of everything a day on the water has to offer. Make sure to check out her review, and visit www.thecultureur.com for tips that may inspire your next new experience!
It’s always fun and exciting to be the new hire in the office: constant praise, appreciation for the work you’re doing, excitement at being at a new job. All in all it’s pretty great. Then you’re no longer the new hire and your employer keeps expecting the same level of work if not more. Stress creeps in. Doubt rears its ugly head. Growing pains follow. Or maybe it’s nothing like that and it’s rainbows and unicorns for you.
No matter what it’s like for you at work, everybody likes winning things. And few people like corporate events planning. Thankfully we at Hornblower have a solution for you and a way for you to become the office hero all over again. We have the Sunsational Office Summer Party Cruise Sweepstakes in full swing and invite you to enter the contest and potentially win a table for 10 on one of our brunch cruises or dinner cruises. Doesn’t sound too bad, does it?
We’re sure you’re wondering what we get out of this whole thing. Well, maybe there are a few more Facebook ‘likes’ in it for us. Or maybe we’re just trying to help you achieve Employee of the Decade at your job for changing how corporate events planning is done. Let’s be real for a second. Who doesn’t want their boss fawning them for winning a cruise? Nobody. So go ahead and like us on Facebook or enter on our website itself and let the Sunsational Summer begin!
It’s that time of year again: wedding season. Love is in the air and the beautiful summer of 2013 is well on its way and so we encourage you to plan your wedding with us. We would be honored to help you realize your dream of a romantic wedding cruise, whether it’s with a large guest list or a small gathering of your most intimate friends and family.
Have you always dreamt of the perfect wedding? We have a few hopeless romantics among us at Hornblower who have wanted nothing more than to tie the knot with a partner and, as a result, we have really tried to make our wedding cruises a dream come true for everyone involved.
Trust us at Hornblower to make your wedding just the way you had always hoped it would be. Choose from any one of our wedding cruise options which vary from port-to-port and are offered in San Francisco, Berkeley, Sacramento, Marina Del Rey, Long Beach, Newport Beach, San Diego, and New York.
We invite you to share your dream with us and help you make your wedding day one of the happiest days of your life. Visit us here to begin the process and congratulations on finding someone so special.

Let Hornblower treat you to a beautiful evening out on the water with our dinner cruises. Whether you’re
celebrating the end of another week or celebrating the beginning of a new union, our dinner cruises allow for a peaceful and personal way to rejoice.
Our dinner menus change frequently. However, one element of the menu never changes: our food is always made with the finest ingredients. In addition to the 4-course meal provided aboard our yachts, we also are proud to present cocktails so good that passengers have suggested that we write a book detailing how we make them (we have to keep some secrets, no?).
Enjoy the live music and dancing aboard our dinner cruises and let the music transport you to another place while enjoying your surroundings in a new light from the deck of one of our yachts. Visit our site to learn more about our dinner cruises
