Part 2 of our "Stressed is Desserts spelled backwards" series is for adults only! We'd like to introduce you to our holiday cocktail - N.Y.G. Fruitcake (Not Your Grandmother's Fruitcake), a yummy concoction of our Bar Manager in San Francisco, Kai Ellsworth. The drink is fruity, sweet, rich and crisp, all rolled into one - a perfect compliment to your holiday party.
Here's how you make N.Y.G. Fruitcake:
- 1 1/2 oz. of 209 Gin
- 1/2 oz. of lemon juice
- 1/2 oz. of Cremé de Violette
- 1/2 oz. of Cherry Heering
- 1/2 oz. of Cognac
Mix It Up...
Mix the Cherry Heering and Cognac. Pour to the bottom of the glass.
Shacke the 209 Gin, the lemon juice and the cremé de violette. Carefully pour over the Cherry Heering and cognac to get the layers.
Garnish with a lemon twist.
