Hornblower Cruises and Events San Diego was honored to be awarded with the Business of the Year for Excellence in Ocean Stewardship at this year’s Ocean Leadership Awards.
The award is given each year by the San Diego Oceans Foundation to a business that engages in socially and environmentally responsible business practices, devises environmentally sustainable solutions to economic challenges, and serves as a role model for the community. Jim Unger, a Vice-President and the General Manager Hornblower San Diego, was presented the award at the 27th Annual Oceans Benefit Gala on April 26th at SeaWorld.
Hornblower has always been and will continue to be a company driven to lead in the field of environmental sustainability. We would like to extend our thanks to the San Diego Oceans Foundation, and we look forward to serving our community ever more in the future.

My wife and I moved to San Diego in May of 2011 and one of the top items was to take either a harbor cruise or a whale watch. Yesterday we took the 2 hour harbor cruise. The North Harbor was our favorite, and the Captain (I wish I had gotten his name, shame on me for not - I was the guy in the Arizona straw cowboy hat, Sir. "What's that!?" :o) Anyway, the Captain made everything interesting and amazing - not just a tourist drone lecture - just a lot of fun and some gorgeous scenery (such an amazingly beautiful city. Thank you for a wonderful day. It was part of our anniversary week.
