Business Times’ 1st Embarcadero Meetup a Success!

It couldn’t have been a better night for the San Francisco Business Times and Hornblower Cruises & Events first Meetup! What a great turnout with over 150 guests on board a Hornblower yacht, along with Business Times Publisher, Mary Huss and Editor-in-Chief, Patrick Chu and Hornblower CEO, Terry MacRae.

“We have to start from the foundation that we lead with quality before impact,” says Mary Huss, as she emphasizes that the news produced by the Business Times is all about the quality of the info their reporters gather. Patrick supports her statement by saying,“I look at reporters as hunter gatherers that are on the hunt for elk meat.”

There were plenty of people to network with in San Francisco – including Richard Essey, Chairman of TemPosition.

Mary Huss, Publisher of the San Francisco Business Times said, “We were thrilled that over 150 professionals from an array of industries including tech, law, real estate and banking came out to network at our first ever Embarcadero Meetup aboard Hornblower Cruises and Events on Wednesday evening August 6, 2014. The event provided an opportunity for the local business community to connect face to face in a fun, casual and relaxed environment. Many, many thanks to Hornblower Cruises and Events for co-hosting the program. Their yacht was the perfect venue for the meetup and we are certain to host more events aboard the Hornblower.”

Special thanks to Mary Huss and the San Francisco Business Times for providing Hornblower Cruises & Events with such a fabulous partnership! Keep your eyes peeled for our next event.
